Now start with a new page with an size of 1000x800. Then go to effects>render>clouds keep it default and hit ok.

Now duplicate the layer, and go to the top layer go to effects>distort >bulge and set it to 100 then go to the bottom layer and do the same but this time put bulge at -200.

What we're gonna do now is that go to the top layer then go to the layer properties set the blending mode at XOR.

Then duplicate the layer, and go to the top layer effects>blurs>zoom blur set it to 75.

As you finish doing the zoom blur, stay on the top layer and go to the layer properties set the blending mode at Lighten and then Merge the layer down.

After all, to put this Explosion in a color go to Adjustments>curves>RGB and un mark green and move the line at 156 43. Now it should look like this.
